Qizilqum Zarafshon (Uzbek: Qizilqum Zarafshon futbol klubi, Қизилқум Зарафшон футбол клуби), is an Uzbek professional football club based in Zarafshon. They play in the Uzbekistan Super League. The club is named after the Qizilqum desert, the biggest in Central Asia. Qizilqum in Uzbek means "red sands".

History

Qizilqum was founded in 1967 under the name Progress. The club changed its name several times and was known as Qizilqum before becoming known as Progress. Since 1997 it has played as Qizilqum. The club made its debut in the Uzbek League in 2000. In its first season the club finished in 11th position. One year later, in the 2001 season, the club finished in 6th place in final League table. At the end of the 2002 season the club finished in 3rd position behind runners-up Neftchi Farg'ona which is their highest finishing position in the Uzbek League to date. Since 2000 the club has consequently played in the top league of Uzbek football.

Futbalový klub Qizilqum PFK je profesionálny uzbecký futbalový klub so sídlom v meste Navoi. Klub bol založený v roku 2009 a v súčasnosti hrá v najvyššej uzbeckej futbalovej lige, Uzbekistan Super League. Štadiónom klubu je Navoiy Stadium s kapacitou 12 500 miest.

Qizilqum PFK je jedným z najúspešnejších klubov v Uzbekistane. V roku 2018 vyhral Uzbekistan Super League a v Uzbekistanskej lige sa celkovo umiestnil na druhom mieste. Klub tiež získal Uzbecký pohár v rokoch 2019 a 2021.

V medzinárodných súťažiach sa Qizilqum PFK zúčastnil Pohára AFC v rokoch 2019 a 2021. V roku 2019 dosiahol štvrťfinále a v roku 2021 bol vyradený v skupinovej fáze.

Súčasným trénerom Qizilqum PFK je Andrey Mikhaylov. Kľúčovými hráčmi tímu sú brankár Eldorbek Suyunov, obrancovia Anvar Gafurov a Dilshod Saitov, stredopoliari Sherzod Azamov a Husniddin Gofurov a útočníci Sardor Rashidov a Jasurbek Yakhshiboev.
