Americký basketbalový tím "Wilberforce" je legendárnym tímom, ktorý sa preslávil v prvej polovici 20. storočia. Tím pozostával z hráčov z Wilberforce University, historicky čiernej univerzity v Ohiu. Wilberforce sa stal prvou veľmocou čierneho basketbalu a vyhral viacero národných šampionátov. Tím bol známy svojou rýchlou hrou a vysokou streleckou úspešnosťou, čo mu prinieslo prezývku "Flipers" (Plátenká). Wilberforce hráči boli priekopníkmi v hre basketbalu a ich úspechy pomohli rozšíriť túto hru medzi afroameričanmi.
