Football Club Samartex 1996, more commonly known as Samartex, is a Ghanaian professional football team based at Samartex Park in Tarkwa that plays in the Ghana Premier League. The club was founded in 1995 by the Samartex Timber & Plywood Company as a recreational football club, and gained promotion from the Third Division to the Second Division of the Western Region in their first season.

Futbalový klub Samatex je ghanský futbalový klub so sídlom v Samreboi v západnom regióne krajiny. Klub bol založený v roku 1996 a v súčasnosti hrá v ghanskej Premier League, najvyššej úrovni ghanského futbalu. Domáce zápasy hráva na štadióne Samreboi Park.

Samatex vyhral v sezóne 2008/09 ghanský FA Cup, čo je jeho najväčší úspech. V sezónach 2010 a 2011 sa zúčastnil Konfederácie afrického futbalu (CAF), pričom sa dostal do štvrťfinále v roku 2010.

Klub je známy svojou úspešnou akadémiou, ktorá vychovala niekoľko hráčov, ktorí reprezentovali Ghanu na medzinárodnej úrovni, vrátane Andre Ayewa, Asamoaha Gyana a John Mensah.
